Where can you go out in the evening in the north of Tenerife? Where is the nightlife?
Going out and nightlife is similar to restaurants: tastes differ. Highway to hell in the Hard Rock Café, techno at a party (there are not many here), or rather Claude Debussy Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune in the Auditorium of Santa Cruz? Booze-up in Playa de las Americás or rather a cultivated cocktail in vistas?
To each his own. However, the options are not comparable to those of big cities on the mainland. And yet, for an island, there is a wide range of cultural activities, some of which are excellent.
The central calendar for all events on the island is Lagenda.
Here you can find the most cultural events and sort the program by city, day, week or category.
For your understanding: The abbreviation and category finde means fin de semana in English week-end. Unfortunately, this page is only available in Spanish. But much speaks for itself. Just try it out.
Here are a few recommendations. I don't have enough time to continue here.
Going out in Puerto de la Cruz
Color Cafe
Cocktail bar with daily free live music centrally at the Plaza de Charco on the 1st floor, run by Jürgen from Alemana. Best regards from me.
Molly Malone
If you like a Guinness beer and Irish merriment with singing to join in, dancing and lots of guests from all over the world, this is the place to be.
Many events are at the central square el Charco next to the harbor or on the large Plaza El Muelle where you can also park - at event so full that there is no space. Allow time and alternatively park further out.
Going out in Puerto de la Cruz
Auditorio de Tenerife
Tenerife's philharmonic orchestra with sophisticated classical program sometimes jazz. View program on the Internet and buy tickets online.
The party starts after restaurants close around midnight. Some clubs are nearby Plaza de España and on the rooftop of the Hotels in the center.
